CFA 2019 Exam to be held on June 15, 16 and 17; Key points to remember

NEW DELHI, JUNE 14 - The Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) will be conducting the June session of CFA® Level II and III examination tomorrow, i.e. June 15. Level I examination will be held on June 16, 2019. Alternate day of exam for religious reasons is June 17 for all levels.

This time, more than 2,50,000 registrations have been made as per information shared by CFA® Institute. There are three levels of CFA® exam, i.e. Level I, II and III. All of the three are sequentially required to be passed. Level I is conducted twice a year (June and December) and Level II and III are conducted only once in the month of June. For all the levels, there will be two sessions: morning and afternoon.

What is allowed to be carried in the examination centre?

Candidates appearing for CFA® 2019 exam are allowed to carry the following stuff:

• Admission ticket

• International travel passport

• Approved calculator

• Approved writing instruments

• Manual pencil sharpeners

• Erasers

• Loose calculator batteries (no packaging) and screwdriver for battery replacement

• Calculator cases and keystroke cards

• Eyeglasses, without eyeglass case

• Earplugs

• Wristwatches (analog and digital) with alarms and timers silenced (all smart watches are prohibited)

Restricted stuff

The following things are strictly prohibited to be brought in the examination hall:

• Food or drinks

• Baggage of any kind, including transparent bags, backpacks, handbags, tote bags, luggage, passport covers, or pencil cases

• Study material including notes, papers, textbooks, etc

• Scratch paper, present/future value tables

• Calculator manuals

• Highlighters, correction fluid, correction tape, or rulers

• Weapons (of any kind)

• Mobile phones, cameras, headsets, computers, tablets, wearable technology, smart watches, or any Bluetooth-enabled device, any remote communication or photographic devices

• Any type of desk clock or timer
