NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law University has rescheduled the Common Law Admission Test, or CLAT 2021, to June 13. The decision was taken to avoid the clash with the CBSE Board examinations.
CLAT 2021 was earlier scheduled to be conducted on May 9. The Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal, had announced that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams will start from May 4 onwards.
The law entrance exam will be conducted between 2 PM and 4 PM for undergraduate and postgraduate law courses on June 13. The exam will be conducted in offline mode.
“The executive committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities met on January 6, 2021, to consider rescheduling the date of the CLAT 2021 exam due to clashes with the CBSE Board
examination schedule announced last week,” the official statement said.
The online application process for CLAT 2021 commenced on January 1. Aspirants can register for the exam till March 31, 2021.
