NEW DELHI: Delhi University (DU) has announced the upgraded allocations and round 1 results for performance-based programs, CW (Children/Widows of Armed Forces Personnel), ECA (Extra-Curricular Activities), Sports, and Ward Quota today, September 3. The university has confirmed a total of 74,108 undergraduate admissions following the latest upgrade round.

In the upgrade round, 28,810 applicants sought an upgrade to their initially allotted courses, while 45,298 applicants chose to freeze their admissions, indicating their satisfaction with the courses and colleges they were initially assigned.
The upgrade round saw a diverse range of allocations. A total of 2,682 students successfully secured seats in their preferred courses through the DU UG CSAS upgrade round 2024. This includes 764 admissions under the Single Girl Child category and 132 admissions under the Orphan category.
Additionally, 1,061 students were allocated seats based on their extracurricular activities (ECA), while 1,648 applicants were admitted under the sports quota, reflecting Delhi University's recognition of talent beyond academics. The university also reported 332 performance-based allocations.

Candidates will have time till September 4 to accept their choices. During the upgrade window, all candidates admitted in round 1 and 2 can choose to upgrade to higher-preference options. Those who select the 'Upgrade' option can also rearrange the program and college combinations that were listed as higher preferences than the one currently allocated to them.
