GUJCET 2023 exam will be held as a pen-paper based test across all districts of Gujarat. The exam will take place in two shifts. Shift 1 will be held from 10 am till 12 pm, while shift 2 will be conducted from 2 pm until 4 pm. Through this exam, candidates will be able to seek admission to undergraduate seats in engineering at colleges of the Gujarat state.
This year, the marks obtained by candidates in their Class 12 boards, in subjects other than physics, chemistry and mathematics will also be considered for preparing the GUJCET 2023 merit list.
GUJCET 2023: Exam guidelines
Candidates about to appear in the exam should go through all guidelines given below.
- All candidates will be required to report to the allotted exam centre at least an hour before the scheduled time for the commencement of exams.
- Admit card and a valid government-issued photo ID proof are the necessary documents, which have to be mandatorily produced by the candidates at the exam centre.
- Items such as mobile phones, earphones, tablets, bluetooth devices, speakers, electronic chips, notebooks, books etc. are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
- Indulgence of the candidates in malpractices such as cheating, copying or other unfair means will invite cancellation of candidature.
- Strict adherence to Covid-appropriate behaviour is a must at all times at the examination centre.
