CAT 2024 gets 30% weightage at IIM Sirmaur; decision on final cut-off by mid-January

The IIM Sirmaur has announced the MBA admission criteria 2025. IIM Sirmaur is a part of the Common Admission Process (CAP) 2025. IIM Bodhgaya will conduct IIM CAP 2025.

The IIM Sirmaur CAT cut-off for general category was 94 percentile in 2023 which has been reduced by 2 percentile points this year. However, the final decision regarding the qualifying cut-off and the number of shortlisted candidates for interview will be taken at the CAP directors’ meeting, by mid-January.
As per IIM Sirmaur admission policy 2025, CAT 2024 index scores have been given 30% weightage. The IIM Sirmaur final selection 2025 will be based on CAT 2024 score, Personal Interview (PI), Written Aptitude Test (WAT), work experience, academic performance, gender diversity, and trailblazer scores.

IIM Sirmaur Admission 2025: Personal interview
The next round of IIM Sirmaur MBA selection process includes Personal Interview (PI). The IIM Sirmaur official notice states, "The PI process will be common to IIMs which are participating in the CAP. The final decision regarding shortlisting cut-off and the number of shortlisted candidates to be invited for PI will be taken at CAP Directors’ meeting."
In the PI round of the IIM selection process, candidates are asked questions on various topics to assess communication skills and personality such as self-introduction, reasons for pursuing an MBA, career goals, and strengths and weaknesses. The PI round carries 20% weightage in IIM Sirmaur MBA selection process.
