Download EBookNEW DELHI: Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) will opening applications for the IISER aptitude test (IAT) 2023 on April 15, 2023 at iiseradmission.in. The institute will conduct the IAT 2023 exam in June 17, 2023.
The IAT 2023 exam will be for a duration of 180 minutes. The test will be a computer based in centres across India. The IISER entrance exam will consist of 60 multiple choice questions (MCQs), 15 questions each from biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics.

IAT 2023 marking scheme
- Each correct answer will be given 4 marks.
- Each incorrect answer will lead to the deduction of 1 mark.
- Unanswered questions will be awarded 0 mark.
IISER aptitude test 2023: Eligibility
- Candidates applying for the IISER entrance exam 2023 must have qualified or is currently appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examination in science stream either in the year 2022 or 2023 are eligible.
- Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics during their Class 12 or equivalent exam.

The institute has informed candidates that the not every candidate appearing in IAT 2023 will be awarded a rank. IISER's official further states that getting a IAT rank will not guarantee an admission in IISER colleges.
IAT 2023 will be held for admission into the the five-year bachelor of science and master of science (BS-MS) dual degree programme offered at IISERs.
