IIT Kanpur starts new batch of eMasters in Sustainable Construction Practices and Project Management

IIT Kanpur E-Masters Programme 2024: Registration for Sustainable Construction Practices and Project Management is open till April 30.
NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) has launched the new cohort of its eMasters in Sustainable Construction Practices and Project Management. The registration for the July batch is open and the last date to apply is April 30.
The IIT Kanpur sustainable construction practices and project management course, aims to prepare professionals with the necessary expertise to oversee sustainable construction projects effectively. The course is structured to prepare individuals for roles such as project managers, construction managers, and sustainability consultants within the construction industry.
Practical training
The program prioritizes practical training and experiential learning to equip graduates with the necessary skills to address the complexities of sustainable construction endeavors effectively. This comprehensive program covers various topics, including green building materials, energy-efficient designs, renewable energy systems, project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Additionally, students will gain insights into environmental management, legal regulations, and sustainability consulting.

Interactive sessions
The curriculum includes a blend of online live and self-paced sessions facilitated through AI-powered iPearl.ai. Students engage in interactive sessions based on faculty availability and apply their learning through team projects, fostering a supportive peer network. Module-level exams are conducted online to assess comprehension, and students have the opportunity to meet industry experts and explore the IITK campus during campus visits.
IIT Kanpur E-Masters Degree eligibility
The eligibility requirements include a Bachelor's degree (4 years program) in Civil, Structural, Construction, or related Engineering and Architecture disciplines with a minimum of 55% marks or 5.5/10 CPI. Additionally, candidates must have at least 2 years of work experience, and current employment status is not a prerequisite for eligibility.
IIT Kanpur e-Masters Programme: Selection process
Selection will be determined by evaluating candidates' academic and professional backgrounds, along with a test and interview if deemed necessary. There is no requirement for GATE qualification.
