IIT Madras, Simplilearn to start six-month course in digital tech, full stack development
IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation and Simplilearn will start programmes focused on FSD-MERN, cloud computing and product management.

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, a startup ecosystem, has signed an agreement with Simplilearn, an online bootcamp provider for digital skills training, for training students.
As per the agreement, the signatories will introduce programmes focused on full stack development (FSD)-MERN, cloud computing and product management. The six-month programme aims to upskill working professionals and freshers in the evolving digital landscape.
The university said the first batch of FSD-MERN will start in December 2023 and candidates can apply for the programme on the simplilearn.com. Students will also have the option to participate in campus immersion experiences, allowing them to visit the campus, engage with the incubator, and have face-to-face interactions with faculty members, the university added.

IITM Pravartak Technologies is a Section 8 company housing the technology innovation hub on sensors, networking, actuators and control systems. It is funded by the department of science and technology under its National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems and is hosted by IIT Madras .
