NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main cut-offs at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Andhra Pradesh saw a drop in major BTech programmes this year. The JEE Main closing rank for computer science and engineering at NIT Andhra Pradesh was 14,707 this year, marking a reduction of 4,851 ranks compared to last year for the home sate quota.

The JEE Main closing rank for electronics and communication engineering at NIT Andhra Pradesh was 24,588 this year, slightly lower than last year’s closing rank of 24,983. NIT Andhra Pradesh saw reduced cut-offs for other BTech programmes as well this year, including biotechnology, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and more.
For the 2022-23 session, the closing rank for Computer Science and Engineering programme was 15,741 at NIT Andhra for gender-neutral home sate quota. For Electronics and Communication Engineering programme the closing rank was 23,666.
The admission to undergraduate programmes in NIT Andhra Pradesh will be held on the basis of JEE Main 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2025 exam in two sessions. The first session is scheduled to take place from January 22 to 31, 2025, while the second session is tentatively scheduled for April 1 to 8, 2025.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct counselling for admission to BTech programmes at the NITs. This year, five rounds of JoSAA counselling were held, compared to six rounds last year. Candidates can check the NIT Andhra Pradesh closing rank for the JEE Main exam from the table given below.
