: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has started the JoSAA 2021 registration from today, October 16. Candidates can take part in the JoSAA 2021 registration and choice filling process through the official website - josaa.nic.in.

The JoSAA 2021 registration is conducted for admissions in various IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. The seats in the
JoSAA participating institutes
will be allotted based on ranks secured by the candidates in JEE Main or JEE Advanced. The last date to register for JoSAA 2021 is October 25.

JoSAA 2021 Registration and Choice Filling Procedure
Candidates will have to log into the candidate portal for JoSAA registration 2021. The JEE Main qualified candidates will have to use their Main registration number and password during the registration process. JEE Advanced qualified candidates will have to use their Main registration number and Advanced password. Here is the guide to the JoSAA registration and choice filling procedure 2021.
JoSAA Registration - Candidates will have to log into the portal using their EE Main application number and Main/Advanced password. The system automatically will pick up the candidate information from the database. Candidates will also have to create a password for further usage.
Choice Filling - Upon registration, candidates will have to fill the choice of the institute and the desired course. Candidates can choose as much as a possible institution from the list of participating institutes.
Choice Locking
- To conclude, candidates will have to lock their choices before the last date. Authorities will release the allotment list based on the choice filling. Candidates will be able to check the status of seat allotment through the JoSAA candidate login portal.

After the completion of the JoSSA registration process, the authorities will release the JoSSA seat allotment list 2021. The seat allotment for JoSAA will be done based on the ranks in the JEE Main/Advanced, and the choice filled by the candidates. There will be a total of seven rounds of JoSSA 2021 counseling.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) managed by the Ministry of Education, regulates the joint seat allocation for admissions to a total of 110 institutes. Admissions to all the JEE participating institutions are given through this one platform.
