Try NowNEW DELHI : The Joint Seat Allocation Authority is going to declare the JoSAA 2021 seat allotment round 1 result tomorrow, October 27. Candidates will be able to check the JoSAA seat allotment 2021 result at the website - josaa.nic.in. The credentials required to download JoSAA 2021 seat allotment are JEE Main application number and password.

How to check JoSAA 2021 seat allotment round 1 result?

Visit the official website of JoSAA 2021 - josaa.nic.in

Click on the “JoSAA seat allotment results - Round 1” link

Login using the JEE Main 2021 application number, password, and security pin

Upon successful login, JoSAA 2021 seat allotment letter will be displayed.

Download and take a printout of the allotment letter
Candidates who will be allotted a seat will have to accept the seat by october 30. All the seat allotted students will have to opt for any one of the options i.e., ‘freeze’, ‘float’ or ‘slide’ for the choice of academic program for subsequent rounds.
Freeze - Means that a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds of seat allocation.
Float - Means that a candidate accepts the offered seat, however, if admission to an academic program of higher preference in any institute is offered, he or she will accept it.
Slide - Means that a candidate accepts the seat but if admission to an academic program of higher preference is offered within the same Institute, he or she will accept it.
The authorities concluded the JoSAA 2021 registration and choice filling process on October 25. Only those candidates who have successfully completed the registration process will be considered for seat allocation.
JoSAA manages and regulates the joint seat allocation for admissions to 114 institutes for the academic year 2021-22. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 33 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).
