KVS, NVS Recruitment 2025: CBSE issues exam city intimation slip; admit card soon

KVS, NVS recruitment exam date 2025 will be announced soon. The CBSE has notified 14,967 teaching and non-teaching vacancies.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the advance exam city intimation slip for recruitment to various teaching and non-teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Through the KVS, NVS teacher recruitment 2025, the board has announced that it will fill 14,967 vacant positions.

Candidates must note that the KVS, NVS recruitment exam city slip is not the admit card. The city slip is published to inform candidates about where their exam centre is likely to be located. The KVS admit card for the recruitment exam will be released soon on the official websites, cbse.gov.in, kvsangathan.nic.in, and navodaya.gov.in.

Candidates should login on the official website using their registration number, starting with 2598 and password created during the application process. The application number should not be used by candidates while login,” the board said.

There will be a two-tier examination followed by a skill test. The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates in tier-2, subject to qualifying the skill test.

Expected knowledge for tier-1

Assistant Commissioner, Principal, Vice-Principal, PGT

Post graduation level.

TGT, Administrative Officer, Finance Officer, Assistant Engineer (Civil), Assistant Section Officer, Junior Translator, Stenographer Grade-II, Stenographer Grade–I and Senior Secretariat Assistant

Graduation level

PRT, Junior Secretariat, Assistant and Lab Attendant

Senior secondary level.

Multi-tasking staff

Secondary level.

Tier-1 exam will be conducted to shortlist candidates for tier-2 in the ratio of 1:10. Each question in the tier-1 exam will carry three marks. There will be negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer.
