RBSE Class 10, 12 Model Paper 2026: Board exam pattern changes; 80 mark-rule for many subjects

Download NowThe Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), Ajmer has published new model papers and blueprints for Class 10 and 12 board examination 2026. Students appearing for the board exams next year, can download the model papers through the official website at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
Over 20 lakh students will benefit from model papers and blueprints ahead of the board exams, the board said. RBSE will begin the Rajasthan Class 10 and 12 board exams 2026 on February 12, 2026.
The model paper shows changes in the question pattern, and the exam format. It includes objective type questions, very short answer type queries and fill in the blank type questions.

RBSE Board Exams 2026: Long question answer weightage increased
“The weightage of long answer questions has been increased. This will help students better understand the style of questions asked from the entire syllabus and the marking scheme. These subjects will have 80-mark papers,” as per the official notice by the board.
The Rajasthan Class 10 board question papers have been set at 80 marks for all subjects. Notably several major subjects in the Class 12 board exams will also follow the 80-mark pattern.
Subjects in Rajasthan Class 12 board exam 2026 that will follow an 80-mark pattern includes public administration, economics, political science, Sanskrit Literature, History, Mathematics, Hindi Literature, English Literature, languages papers, and philosophy.
