University Of Hyderabad Admission 2023: Application begins for PG, Integrated MSc, PhD programmes

Candidates who have written the CUET PG 2023 can register for admission to Hyderabad University PG, integrated MSc, PhD programmes.
NEW DELHI: The University of Hyderabad has opened the application window for admission to postgraduate (PG) and integrated MSc and PhD programmes. The application for admission to Hyderabad University PG programmes can be done by candidates who have applied for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG). Candidates will have to go to acad.uohyd.ac.in and register for application to the PG programmes .
As many as 43 PG programmes and two integrated MSc PhD programmes are on offer this year. The total number of seats for these programmes is 1,346 (GE-543, SC-204, ST-100, OBC-365, EWS-134, PwD-67 and DP-67).
As per the University of Hyderabad admission schedule, the last date for online application is August 12 for all programmes. The university will publish the merit list for admission counselling on September 5 for programmes without interview component, while the physical reporting for admission counselling and document verification will be held between September 11 and 13.
For programmes with interview components including MPA (Dance) and MPA (Music), the notification of shortlisted candidates for interviews will be made available on August 21 and the interviews are slated to be held between August 30 and September 1. The notification for medir list for counselling will be issued on September 7 and physical reporting for admission counselling and document verification will be done on September 14.
Classes at University of Hyderabad will start on September 15. Last date for closure of admissions of wait listed candidates is September 22.
The admission counselling will be conducted in the order of merit based on the CUET scores, category-wise intake and the admission criteria defined by the University of Hyderabad, a university statement said.
