NEW DELHI : Uttar Pradesh government has cancelled the UP board 12th exam 2021 due to the COVID-19 situation in the state, deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma told ABP news channel. The decision to cancel the UPMSP intermediate exam 2021 is taken in the interest of students.

The board cancelled UP board exam 2021 following the CBSE trend which cancelled class 12 exams on June 1. UP board is the biggest board in the world which conducts Class 10 and 12 exams for more than 56 students. The minister said that this is the first time that high school and intermediate exams are cancelled.
The minister added that we had a meeting with chief minister Yogi Adityanath and respective department officials. In the meeting, the government decided to cancel the Class 12 UP board exams. Now, UP board 12th result 2021 will be prepared on the basis of criteria to be developed and notified.
Earlier, UPMSP has cancelled the UP board 10th exam 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The UP Board will promote the student of Class 10 to the next class. Around 29,94,312 students of Class 10 were relieved with the decision of the UP Board. The result of Class 10 on the basis of guidelines and criteria developed by the board later.
