The UP Board exam time table 2026 for Class 10 Madhyamik and Class 12 intermediate was revised recently. As per the revised date sheet, UP Board 12th Sanskrit paper will be held on March 12 in the second shift.
Class 10 Hindi and Elementary Hindi exams will now be held on February 18 in the first shift, and the Class 12 Hindi and General Hindi papers will be held on the same date in the second shift.
The Uttar Pradesh Board exam 2026 will be conducted for over 52 lakh students from February 18 to March 12. The annual public exam will be held in two shifts – first sitting from 8.30 am to 11.45 pm and the second sitting from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.

UP Board Exam 2025: Question paper format
All questions in the UP Board exam 2026 are compulsory. Marks assigned for each question will be displayed against each question, the board said. Students will be given 15 minutes time in the beginning of the exam for reading the question paper.
There are a total of nine questions in the UP Board Class 12 mathematics question paper and all are compulsory. The board exams for secondary and higher secondary students will be held for a duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes.
For UP Board Class 10 exam 2026, the question paper will be divided into two parts. Part A consists of 20 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each and will have to be answered on OMR answer sheet by darkening the correct answer using blue o black ballpoint pen.
Students are prohibited from using erasers or whiteners on the OMR answer sheet.
Part B consists of descriptive questions carrying 50 marks. The question paper will contain two sections – section A consists of 20 MCQs and section B has 5 questions worth 50 marks.
“Question 1 is very short-answer, Question 2 is short-answer, and Questions 3, 4, and 5 are long-answer. At the beginning of each question, it is clearly written how many sections to complete,” the model paper instructions read.
