NEW DELHI: Vellore Institute of Technology's (VIT) has cancelled the VITMEE 2021 exam due to COVID-19 pandemic. The admissions to M.Tech and MCA courses will be done on the basis of Bachelor’s degree (Undergraduate) performance. Candidates who filled the VITMEE application form successfully will be intimated about further admissions process through Email ID.
The exam conducting authorities have released the VITMEE application form on March 3. The last date to apply for VITMEE 2021 was June 14. The entrance exam will not be conducted this year due to COVID-19 pandemic across the country.
As per the official notice, GATE qualified candidates will be given preference in the admission process. Non GATE candidates will be offered admissions on the basis of academic records (upto pre-final year performance). VITMEE 2021 choice filling facility for course selection will be intimated later to registered candidates.
The exam conducting authority has previously successfully conducted VITEEE 2021 exam in online proctored mode. The exam was conducted on May 28, 29 and 31 and June 10 (Re-exam). VITEEE 2021 result has been declared on June 12 in online mode at the official website.
