NEW DELHI: BITS School of Management (BITSoM) Mumbai has announced the launch of its Centre for Executive and Professional Development at Powai, Mumbai. The Centre will offer executive education programmes with an objective to equip executives with skills to excel in the future workplace, the institute said.
“This strategic initiative reflects BITSoM's commitment to fostering lifelong learning and bridging the skill gaps essential for thriving in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape,” it said.
The programmes offered by the new Centre for Executive and Professional Development will range from 2 to 3 day long programmes to long-term Global Executive MBA and general management programmes. The courses will be taught by BITSoM’s global faculty, and will deliver a world class learning experience and cutting-edge course material.
“The programmes aim to equip executives with the skills, competencies, and tools necessary to excel in the future workplace, addressing challenges around new technologies, digital transformation, Industry 4.0, and leadership in a changing world,” it added.
In this regard, the institute organised a two-day inaugural programme recently focusing on ‘Retail and Supply Chain Analytics’ delivered by Saravanan Kesavan, dean and professor of operations at BITSoM and Sandeep Chandukala from Singapore Management University (SMU).
