CBSE schools started conducting the board practical exams from January 1 and uploading marks secured by students in practicals, project, and internal assessment (IA). “In continuation of the same, the portal for uploading of Internal Grades will remain active w.e.f. 15th January, 2025 to 14th February, 2025 for Uploading the Internal Grades of Class XII candidates,” the CBSE circular read.
The board instructed schools to verify the data thoroughly before uploading the marks to ensure “the correctness of Internal Grades being uploaded”. The CBSE board reiterated that it is the responsibility of the schools to ensure marks awarded and uploaded are the same, as there will be no facility to edit the data submitted.
While announcing the guidelines for the CBSE practical exams, the board had asked the schools to upload the practical, project and IA marks every day, ie. on the day of conduct of assessment.
“While uploading the marks, the school, the Internal Examiner and the External Examiner shall ensure that correct marks are uploaded as no correction in the marks will be allowed once marks are uploaded,” it said. Schools have also been directed to check maximum marks assigned to practicals and IA before awarding marks.
