The university will be allowed to reopen with all COVID-19 standard operating procedures directed by the ministry of health and family welfare.
The home ministry, in its latest unlock guidelines , has allowed all activities outside containment zones including reopening of colleges and universities. The ministry has left it to the states to decide on issuing SOP (standard operating procedures) for educational institutions for allowing more than 200 people in a closed space.
In addition, the section-in-charge of the university has been directed to plan entry and exit of the staff members to avoid crowding. The staff members will be called for “discharge of duties” at two different time slots of 9:00 am to 5:30 am and 9:30 am to 6:00 am.
