IIIT Delhi: iPD-CP
The iPD-CP programme has a comprehensive approach to product development, including:
- Integrated curriculum covers breadth of product development, from conceptualisation to design thinking, hardware design, and production readiness.
- Practical training is offered for participants to engage in hands-on workshops.
- Mentorship and training from industry professionals.
- A core component of the programme is the Capstone Project, in which students will develop a production-ready prototype.
- The programme will offer guidance and support for participants interested in launching startups.
- Additionally, students working on products with the intent of a startup may be supported by the READY programme of IHFC, the Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi .
"While various programmes offer training in embedded systems, the iPD-CP is differentiated by its holistic emphasis on the entire product development lifecycle. This includes a strong focus on design thinking, user-centered design, and production considerations, in addition to embedded systems design. The programme's Capstone Project and support for entrepreneurial ventures further distinguish it from programmes that primarily focus on specific technical skills," the official IIIT Delhi statement said.
