JEE Advanced 2025 LIVE Updates: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has published the question papers for the paper 1 and 2 of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025 on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. The JEE Advanced exam 2025 was rated overall moderate in difficulty level with tough mathematics.

JEE Advanced 2025 was conducted on May 18 in two shifts. Paper 1 was held in shift 1 from 9 am to 12 noon while paper 2 took place in shift 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Now, that the JEE Advanced exam is over, IIT Kanpur will upload the candidates' response sheets on May 22 and JEE Advanced answer key 2025 will be issued on May 26. Aspirants will be allowed to raise objections against the JEE Advanced 2025 answer key by May 27. Based on the final answer key, JEE Advanced results 2025 will be declared on June 2.

Physics
The Physics section was generally rated easy to moderate. Paper 1 was considered easier than Paper 2. The majority of the questions were numerical in nature, requiring conceptual clarity and moderate calculation skills. Some questions in Paper 2 were slightly lengthy and time-consuming.
Chemistry
Chemistry stood out as the easiest section across both papers. The questions were largely conceptual and straightforward, with only a few requiring detailed calculations. Students appreciated the balanced coverage of Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry.
Mathematics
Mathematics proved to be the toughest section for most aspirants. While Paper 1 was relatively manageable, Paper 2 was significantly more challenging, with many lengthy and calculation-intensive problems. Time management was a crucial factor in this section.
JEE Advanced is a national-level exam held for admission to BE, BTech, integrated master's, and dual degree programmes in all participating universities. Candidates who qualify for the exam will be eligible for admission to the top IITs across the country. Candidates will be allotted seats in IITs through counselling process conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

If two or more candidates score the same aggregate marks, then the following tie-break policy will be used for awarding ranks:
Step 1: Candidates having higher positive marks will be awarded higher rank.
Step 2: Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in mathematics.
Step 3: Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in physics.
If there is a tie even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced answer key 2025 will be issued after the conclusion of exam, on May 26 as per the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. With the help of the provisional answer key, candidates will be able to calculate scores.
