Pondicherry HSC results 2021: The results of Class 12 were prepared on the basis of internal assessment.
PUDUCHERRY: All the 14,674 students of Class 12 were on Monday declared as pass and promoted in Puducherry and Karaikal regions.
Director of Education T Rudra Goud, in a press release, said 6,884 boys and 7,790 girls were promoted without having to take the board exams which were cancelled owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. The students were from government and private schools in the Puducherry and Karaikal regions.
Recently, Puducherry Government decided to postpone reopening of schools and colleges from July 16 following the requests of various sections. The government will announce the new date of reopening the schools after considering the pandemic situation, Home and Education minister A Namassivayam said. Chief Minister N Rangasamy had declared that schools for Classes 9 to 12 and some colleges will open from July 16.
