Dharmendra Pradhan to launch booklet, initiatives of NEP 2020 on August 24

The education ministry announced on social media that education minister will launch various initiatives including a booklet on NEP's one-year achievement.
NEW DELHI: Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan will launch several initiatives of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 including a booklet on one-year achievement of NEP on August 24 through a live session, the Ministry of Education announced on social media today.
The other initiatives of NEP 2020 to be launched by Pradhan tomorrow are National Initiative for proficiency in reading with understanding and numeracy (NIPUN) Bharat foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) tools and resources on DIKSHA portal; virtual school of National institute of open schooling (NIOS); alternative academic calendar of NCERT, and Priya- Accessibility booklet developed by NCERT in partnership with Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability.

Today, Karnataka became the first state to implement the new National Education Policy . Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the launch.
