As per the NEET UG 2025 seat matrix, 4,821 seats are available under clear vacancy, while 10,737 fall under the virtual vacancy category. Notably, the committee has added 139 new seats under the NEET UG counselling 2025 round 3.
According to the NEET UG counselling round 3 schedule 2025, college reporting will take place from October 9 to 17, and the data verification of joining candidates by the institutes will be conducted between October 18 and 19.
Furthermore, the counselling process for leftover seats, NEET UG stray vacancy 2025 round will begin on October 22 to 26. The stray round allotment results will be declared on October 29, and college reporting will start on October 30 to November 5.
MCC NEET UG counselling 2025 round 3
The MCC rules for NEET UG counselling 2025 round 3 are as follows.
- Candidates who have been allotted a seat cannot resign or upgrade.
- Candidates who have upgraded from round 2 must take relieving and complete joining formalities in round 3 NEET counselling. However, candidates cannot upgrade or resign from this seat. They also lose claim to the round 2 seat.
- Candidates who do not join round 3 seats can exit with forfeiture of fees and elimination. Such candidates cannot participate in further rounds of counselling.
- Candidates who registered for the first time and were not allotted a seat in round 3 can participate in the stray vacancy round.
