NEET 2023 Exam Analysis: Physics, chemistry 'moderate to tough'; biology easy, say students

NEW DELHI : The National Eligibility Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2023 held today had ‘moderate to tough’ physics and chemistry while biology was easy, as per reactions from students. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET 2023 exam from 2pm to 5:20pm for physics, chemistry and biology subjects. NEET UG 2023 live updates .
According to a candidate who appeared for NEET UG 2023 exam, biology was lengthy. While most frequently asked questions were from biology, all questions were based on NCERT. As per the student’s preparation, it was a “nice” attempt. Another candidate, Rajini also said that the exam had NCERT-based questions and the exam was average for her.

As per a student, Rehana, “The attempt was average. Physics was the most difficult subject.” Another student found physics as the toughest subject. For the candidate, chemistry was moderate and biology was good.
A student said that most questions were the same as found in the NEET 2023 test series. “It was neither too tough nor very easy,” they said. An aspirant, Shayan took coaching from unacademy. He could not attempt a few questions from some subjects except biology.
NCERT-based questions, medium difficulty-level
For NEET UG 2023 aspirant, Priyanka, “chemistry was tough. Rest was okay. Language was tough. I expect to score highest in biology, then physics and then chemistry. All three were moderate. Biology was easy. Physics and chemistry was okay. The strategy to study was to take regular study and focus on self study. Also, I took coaching from Ranker's Point.”

Shivprakash from Bihar who gave his second attempt for NEET 2023 said that most questions were theoretical and 95 percent questions were from NCERT syllabus. For Kirti, who also gave her second attempt in NEET 2023, physics was tough. Biology was almost entirely NCERT based, she shared.
For Mayank, the NEET UG 2023 difficulty level was medium. He had not prepared for exams. Chemistry was the toughest portion. Another candidate, Devadrita Majumdar, said that the exam was average. Physics was more numerical based while chemistry and biology were easy. She took coaching at Akash and expects a score between 590-600.
