RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Notification out for 5,696 assistant loco pilot posts; apply from January 20

RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: The deadline to submit the online application is February 19.
NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Board has published a notification for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 today, January 19. Candidates who are interested in the post of assistant Loco Pilot can check the notification at the official website of RRBs at indianrailways.gov.in. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 5,696 vacancies of assistant loco pilot in Indian Railways.
According to the official announcement, the registration process will begin on January 20, and the deadline to submit the online application is February 19. The application correction window will be active from February 20 to February 29.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates can have a look at the eligibility criteria for the RRB ALP recruitment below.
- The applicant should be a citizen of India.
- He or she should be in good physical and mental health.
- Candidates for the ALP position should be familiar with the regional language of the area where they are applying.
- He or she should be mentally fit to perform the job of an assistant loco pilot.
- Candidates must have Class 10 or SSLC plus ITI certificate from recognized institutions of NCVT or SCVT in the trades of fitter, electrician, instrument mechanic, millwright/maintenance mechanic, mechanic (radio and tv). electronics mechanic, mechanic (motor vehicle), wireman, tractor mechanic, armature and coil winder, mechanic (diesel), heat engine, turner, machinist, refrigeration and air-conditioning mechanic.

- Candidates must have Class 10 or SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.

- Candidates must have Class 10 or SSLC plus three years diploma in mechanical or electrical or automobile engineering or combination of various streams of these engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI.
- Age of the candidate should be between 18 to 30 years.
