CUET PG 2026 aspirants can choose up to four test cities, clarifies NTA

NTA CUET PG 2026: Candidates can modify their choices between January 18 to 20, once the application correction window opens.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that aspirants appearing for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET-PG 2026) can choose up to four exam cities, offering greater flexibility. NTA will also allow applicants to modify their choices between January 18 to 20, once the CUET PG 2026 application correction window opens.
Candidates can choose city choices within the state of their permanent or present residence, subject to the availability of exam cities. Candidates can apply for CUET PG 2026 on the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/, by January 14.
This year, NTA has reduced the number of CUET PG 2026 exam cities to 292, of which 276 are in India and 16 abroad. Last year, NTA conducted the exam in 312 cities.

CUET PG 2026
CUET PG 2026 exam will be held for 157 subject papers, including common paper, languages, science, humanities, MTech, and higher sciences, and Acharya subjects. The exam dates for CUET PG 2026 are yet to be announced.
General category candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 700, while applicants from the OBC-NCL, SC, and ST categories have to pay Rs 600. Candidates applying for two papers will need to pay twice the prescribed fee. For applicants appearing from outside India, the registration fee is Rs 3,500 for a single subject paper.
NTA conducts CUET PG 2026 for candidates seeking admission in central universities (CUs) or other participating universities, including state, deemed, and private universities across the country.
