NEW DELHI: The recruitment board of Meghalaya police department will close the Meghalaya police constable recruitment 2024 registration process today, May 31. Interested candidates can apply for Meghalaya police constable recruitment 2024 by visiting the official website, megpolice.gov.in.
As per the notification, A total of 2,968 vacancies have been announced under the Meghalaya police constable recruitment 2024. The Meghalaya police constable recruitment 2024 vacancy positions include armed branch constable, battalion constable, MPRO GD, constable handyman and MPRO operator among others.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee to complete the registration. The Meghalaya police constable recruitment 2024 application fee is Rs 150. Candidates can pay the Meghalaya police constable recruitment 2024 application fees through net banking, debit card, or credit card.

Meghalaya police recruitment exam pattern 2024
The Meghalaya police recruitment 2024 exam will be held offline. The Meghalaya police recruitment exam will have objective-type questions only. The unarmed branch exam carries 300 marks while the test for armed branch carries 150 marks.
The duration of the unarmed branch written exam is 90 minutes, whereas for the armed branch it is 60 minutes. The unarmed branch exam will include questions from English grammar and usage, arithmetic, elementary science, and general knowledge. On the other hand, the armed branch exam will have questions on elementary English, basic arithmetic, and basic general knowledge.
